Selection Process and Development Center

Executives, emerging leaders, high-potential professionals, and ambitious students with a strong drive for growth, connection, and personal development are invited to apply. While academic and professional excellence—or outstanding achievements in arts, music, or sports—are important, personality remains the defining factor. 

Our rigorous selection process ensures that QX continues to be enriched by inspiring, high-performing, adaptable, open-minded, and strong-charactered individuals. We base our evaluation on formal qualifications, experience-driven insights, and personality-based criteria.

Every QX member demonstrates excellence in at least two areas—through achievements, experience, or commitment. This shared foundation is a key principle of our network concept. Another fundamental principle is the openness and ease of exchange. Using first-name terms and sharing laughter—even at one’s own expense—are just as important to us as an outstanding career trajectory.

You become a QX member in two steps:

1. Positive preselection based on biography, academic, professional, and other achievements (e.g., artistic, musical, athletic, social, etc.).

2. Successful participation in the "QX-Development Center " the selection assessment for new members.

Das Development-Center (DC)

The QX Development Center (DC) is our multiple-times-per-year selection assessment for new members of the QX network.

Each DC begins the evening before with a "Serenata," an informal get-together of all participants and jurors, featuring a relaxed dinner and a glass or two of wine.

The following day, the carefully selected candidates tackle real-world challenges, present their results, and face critical questioning. Additionally, they engage in self-assessment regarding key personality traits and receive external perception feedback from jurors and peers.

Authenticity, charisma, strong communication skills—but also individuality and distinctive traits, that certain "X-factor"—are what define QX members. These are precisely the qualities we seek throughout the Development Center, as we evaluate the 10 to 15 invited participants.

Based on all observations and insights, the jury creates an individualized leadership potential profile for each participant—always aligned with their values, expectations, interests, and needs. The goal is to provide the most accurate forecast of their future performance as an entrepreneur or top executive. These impressions are thoroughly discussed in a personalized final feedback session, serving both as a self-assessment and as a foundation for formulating meaningful development scenarios, defining mid- to long-term strategies, and successfully implementing them.

Based on this foundation, we have been providing recommendations to our clients—from consulting, industrial, financial, technology, and start-up sectors—for nearly 30 years, supporting them in critical new appointments, promotions, or developmental needs.
